All In for Kids Virtual Event is Postponed

All In for Kids Virtual Event is Postponed

We are postponing our All In for Kids Virtual Event for the time being.

In the face of these emergent issues, we are making a decision to indefinitely postpone our All in for Kids Events – which were originally planned for the week of March 23rd.

In these evolving times, we think our attention should be on how we can help our community rather than how they can help us.

The All in for Kids Events are the signature event for the Northshore Schools Foundation and it serves as the PRIMARY fundraiser for all the grants and funding that the Foundation provides every year.

We are hopeful to hold the event in the future, but if you are so inclined to help financially today, you can help ensure that we are ready to support our students and teachers when we return to the classroom.

DONATE TODAY

If you would like to direct a donation towards our Community & District Response efforts, you can donate here.

If you or your family need assistance during this time, please feel free to reach out to us and we will endeavor to connect you with the services you need.

In times like these, we are even more grateful for the sponsors that support us.

Foundation family,

As our Northshore School District community has made the transition from the classroom to the cloud, we at the Foundation are making changes to our much-anticipated All In For Kids events this month.

Guided by recommendations from Public Health-Seattle & King County concerning the coronavirus, which includes avoiding bringing large groups of people together and considering postponing events and gatherings:

• the All In for Kids gala at Russell’s will be postponed to May 15th

• the All In for Kids breakfast and lunch events planned for March 24th will instead become virtual events

All In for Kids Week Virtual Events
Monday, March 23rd – Friday, March 27th
Events will be on our social media channels and on our website, www.NorthshoreSchoolsFoundation.org

If you are already registered for the breakfast or lunch events, you will receive additional email communication about how to participate online.

If you had not registered yet, please REGISTER HERE

We’ll be sorry to miss seeing you in person, but each of us can still make a big personal impact. This community has been generously supporting Northshore kids through the Northshore Schools Foundation for 25 years! Because of your loyal support, we’ve come a long way together. And we’re dreaming big about the future. Your contributions during this week of online events will help prepare the 23,000 students in our district to be future-ready.

As we’re all experiencing, we can adapt to and make the best of unexpected circumstances when we support one another. So, please join us online for student & teacher testimony, and more. You’ll hear from one of our high school students about how his involvement with the Science Olympiad has helped him feel deeply connected at school and to grow as a leader. Jake Whittenberg of KING 5 will interview our own Dr. Michelle Reid, Superintendent, Northshore School District. Plus, we’ll have opportunities to interact and share our own stories of impact.

We hope that you and your family are well,

Looking forward to seeing you online,

Carmin Dalziel

Executive Director, Northshore Schools Foundation
