Prom April 29, 2023

Prom April 29, 2023

Prom season is almost here, and the Northshore Schools Foundation is thrilled to be celebrating with you on Saturday, April 29th! Get ready to dance the night away with the theme “Prom Through the Eras.” And don’t worry, you can wear whatever makes you feel fabulous – whether it’s your old prom dress or something new.

But wait, there’s more! This isn’t just any prom – it’s a fundraiser for the Northshore Schools Foundation. By attending, you’ll be supporting students and educators in your community. You can even raise the paddle or bid on silent auction items throughout the night.

Tickets are still available, but they’re going fast! So spread the word and invite your friends to join in on the fun. If you haven’t gotten your tickets yet!  They are still available here.

Here are a few details that may help you to plan your evening.

What Should I Wear?  We do not want to limit the dress recommendations for this event. With a theme of “Prom Through the Eras,” you can feel free to break out your old prom attire or wear something more modern. Any type of cocktail attire is appropriate for our version of prom.

What About Parking? There is limited parking available onsite at The Lodge at St. Edward Park, making it important that you have a parking plan. You can choose to purchase a prepaid valet now using this link.

Simply purchase now and show your ticket when you park. Alternatively, you can consider using a car service or pay for valet onsite.

Is Prom a Fundraiser? YES! Prom is one of the key fundraising events for the year for the Northshore Schools Foundation, benefitting all of the students and educators in our community. While having a great time, you will also have the opportunity to raise the paddle, bid on silent auction items, and make other fun purchases throughout the night.

Are Tickets Still Available? As of April 19, there are a limited number of tickets still available for the event. Please feel free to promote this event to your social network. The more, the merrier! If you have a friend who decides to attend the day of the event, feel free to have them reach out to Christy Bowen at bowenjayhawk@gmail.com and she will get them set up.

Will Food be Available? Like a real prom, half of the fun is going out to dinner with friends prior to the dance. We encourage attendees to eat before arriving at The Lodge. However, we will also have a variety of delicious appetizers and desserts catered by Chef Seth at The Cottage throughout the night. Be on the lookout for the late-night pizza delivery to end the night Prom Style.

Do You Have to Be 21+ to Attend? Yes!  This event is strictly 21 and over.  It’s YOUR turn to have another chance at Prom.  But we have been hearing that older children might be the perfect chauffeur for the event.

What About Drinks? Your prom ticket includes two complimentary drink tickets good for beer and wine. There will also be additional beer and wine available for purchase. While we cannot serve hard liquor, you will find a bar located next to the prom ballroom where you can purchase your favorite cocktail. However, these drinks must remain in the bar.

Can’t Attend but Still Want to Give? If you have friends and family that cannot attend prom but still want to support the Foundation financially, please share this virtual Raise the Paddle link.

What’s on the Silent Auction?

TBD!  Stay tuned!

We hope this answers all of your questions and we cannot wait to see all of our supporters on April 29! As always, thank you so much for your support of the Foundation.
