Cara brings 10+ years nonprofit leadership experience, most recently serving as the Executive Director for the Fauntleroy Community Service Agency. The FCSA is a nonprofit organization dedicated to making the historic Fauntleroy Community Schoolhouse a vibrant community center while also operating the Fauntleroy Children’s Center, a nationally accredited nonprofit early learning center. Cara has held multiple leadership and teaching roles in the field of Education from early childhood education to elementary education and even theater.

Cara earned a Masters in Educational Administration and a Masters in Education (Curriculum Development) from Seattle University and a Bachelor of Arts in Theater and a Bachelor of Arts in Education from Indiana University.

Cara lives in Mountlake Terrace with her husband Matt, son Wyatt, and Chihuahua/Terrier mix, Jackie.
