20 Feb Celebrating 25 Years Supporting Students
The All in for Kids annual celebration is a popular and much-anticipated benefit to help students succeed in the Northshore School District. The Northshore Schools Foundation is commemorating its 25th Anniversary by hosting three events in March to support students.
Breakfast or Lunch:
On March 24th, attendees can choose between a breakfast or luncheon event to connect with like-minded friends, hear stories from students, teachers, and volunteers who speak volumes of a community building a better future. The student keynote will be from Bothell High Senior, National Merit Scholar and Science Olympiad President, Diandre Sabre. The program will feature an exploration of equity and diversity work and programs that connect students to school as well as an address by Supt. Dr. Michelle Reid. The student expo between the two events will feature demonstrations of Science Olympiad, ArtSpring and the Adult Transition work share program.
Brian Calvert from Komo News and the Joy Unicorn Show will be returning as the host for the breakfast event. Jake Whittenberg, a Northshore parent and King 5 news anchor will also be returning as the host of the luncheon event.
“This breakfast and lunch events are such a joyful opportunity for our community to come together and celebrate what is possible when we do that,” exclaims Carmin Dalziel, NSDF Executive Director. “The grants and programs that are possible because of this event help ensure our children find their passions, feel supported and are able to look forward to school every day.”
Gala:
The 25th Anniversary Gala will be a formal event hosted at Russell’s Loft in Bothell, WA on March 27th. Guests will be encouraged to dress formally and enjoy an evening of exquisite food paired with local wines for an evening of dancing and raising the paddle to support local education in our school district.
“Twenty-five years is something to celebrate,” said Dalziel. “A gala is something totally new for us, but we know that our fans are excited to dress up and celebrate this important milestone with us.”
