We’re Honored: The Foundation is recipient of Microsoft’s 50 for 50!
Microsoft is dedicated to highlighting local changemakers and nonprofits that make a direct impact in their communities. To celebrate its 50th anniversary, Microsoft launched One Future One Sound, honoring 50 nonprofits with $50,000 grants to support their ongoing work.
The Northshore Schools Foundation is proud to be one of the 50 nonprofit recipients! We recognized Patsy Treece, our co-Board President, as the Foundation’s changemaker in service to our mission.
Welcome Bothell Stem Coach and Varsity Match Circle
The Foundation welcomes Allen Tsao!
Founder and Professional Tutor of Bothell Stem Coach as an annual sponsor.
Why did he decided to join us? “My wife and I decided to sponsor the Removing Barriers because we really do believe in the mission. During COVID, we knew a lot of families were struggling due to business and school closures that would impact our most marginalized members of our community. We were very blessed to be in a position to offer help and so we chose to donate more funds to that cause.”

The Foundation also welcomes Varisty Math Circle as a Giving Group sponsor.
Thank you Allen and Varisty Math Circle!

Welcome Fereshta and Yuliya
The Foundation proudly welcomes two new employees to our team.
Fereshta is our new Donor Retention and Data Administrator. She brings a wealth of data entry and organizational skills to the team. Plus, she is a very proud NSD parent!
Yuliya is our Marketing and Events Lead. She’ll be working closing with Kimm on the Foundation’s 30th Anniversary event this spring. Fun fact: Yuliya and Kimm were both classmates at Bellevue College, where they teamed up on the DECA and Speech & Debate teams!
Grants that Inspire Greatness: Inspiring!
We appreciate everyone who attend our October fundraiser for classroom grants. It such a GREAT evening!
A huge thank you to North Creek Mental Health Club, Bothell High School Robotics Club, and Casey from Pathways Lunch Program for sharing those stories. And a special shotout to Superintendent Tolly for his insightful presentation!
Attendees also enjoyed delicious homemade treats from Pathways Lunch Program and Ohh macarons.
Stay tuned for more future events that directly support one of our pillars of service work.
Join us virtually at the 2024 University of Washington Combined Fund Drive nonprofit expo!
