Be A Volunteer

Volunteer to spread the word about the Foundation and support its events, programs and fundraising efforts. We welcome all! Professionals, parents, students, family, neighbors, local business, nonprofit organizations, and teams!

The Foundation supports community service hours for students, employee programs, and adults.

Volunteers may serve as a Board Member, School Ambassador, event support, behind the scenes, and more. We will help you find how your service can most benefit Northshore youth, the Foundation, and you.

Be an Ambassador

“Being an ambassador has helped my school stay more informed of the opportunities available for students and families in the Northshore School District. I have also had the opportunity to share FUNdraising events with our school which provides a way to hangout with school community parents as well as benefit all the NSD schools.” -Summer

Northshore Schools Foundation Ambassadors are volunteers who serve as the face of our organization. They promote our work to parents and teachers at schools, raising awareness about our initiatives and the positive impact we can achieve together for the benefit of students.

Ambassadors maintain collaborative and mutually beneficial relationships with individual schools and PTAs. They ensure that students receive continuous support from elementary school through high school and help identify and address any gaps in services and needs.

Having a school Ambassador significantly increases the chances that teachers and students are aware of the resources and services the Foundation offers.
