30 Years of Building Bright Futures | Our Spring Fundraiser
Join us at our spring fundraiser to raise funds for Northshore students, educators, and classrooms! Save the date for Saturday, March 29, 2025 at Inglewood Golf Club in Kenmore because we want to celebrate our past and honor our future with YOU!
We’re making this EXTRA special because it’s our 30th Anniversary being the Foundation for the Northshore School District.
Highlights:
- Professional Auctioneer Kevin Joyce will be leading the Live Auction and Raise the Paddle. One of the most popular and sought-after fundraising hosts in the Pacific Northwest!
- Silent and Live Auction, with items from local businesses and individuals.
- Dessert Dash for you to bid and enjoy!
- Plated dinner, soft drinks, and coffee, and appetizers are included
- More program details will be annouced within the next month! Stay tuned!
Early bird tickets are on sale NOW until Monday, Feb. 3, 2025. Attendees must be 21 years of age or older.

Call for Silent and Live Auction Items
Do you have a small businesses? Are an enthusiastic crafter? A season ticket holder? Chef extraordinaire? Hobbyist? Have specialized skills? We need YOU and your talents!
You can support building BRIGHTER futures! How? We’re seeking donations for our silent and live auctions from individuals, teams, businesses, and corporations for our spring fundraiser, 30 Years of Building Bright Futures on Saturday, March 29, 2025.
Here’s what we’re looking for:
- Silent Auction Items: Wine, fine spirits, health and fitness memberships, themed gift baskets, restaurant gift cards, books, video games and consoles, and other items valued at $500 or less.
- Live Auction Items: Weekend getaways, international trips, fine art, fine collectibles, Airbnbs, Seahawks tickets, Mariners tickets, and items valued at $600 or more.
Our silent and live auction items will be available only for attendees to bid and win in-person at our fundraiser.

Do you have unused gift cards sitting in your drawer? Those gift cards could really make a BIG difference in our efforts to raise funds for our service work to Northshore!

We’re Pleased to Announce:
The Foundation is a recipient of City of Bothell, City of Kenmore, and City of Woodinville grants
Between the three cities, we’re receiving $30,000 for 2025 and at least $25,000 for 2026!
With the funds, the Foundation plans to invest in:
- Enhancing our annual Backpacks for Kids supply drive, providing school supplies for Northshore students in need.
- Strengthening monetary support for the Northshore School District’s McKinney-Vento program, which assists homeless and at-risk families.
- Opportunity Funds, which covers fees and services in the classroom to help all Northshore students have access to critical learning opportunities
More GOOD NEWS: $100,000 for Northshore families | Operation School Bell
In December, the Foundation collaborated with the Assistance League of the Eastside and our Care Team Liaisons to distribute grocery gift cards to Northshore families and students in need during the holiday season. Approximately $100,000 was distributed in supporting Northshore families, ensuring they had access to essential food and supplies for the holidays.

Enhance and Inspire Learning Grants
Our spring grant cycle application is OPEN to all current Northshore educators and staff!
Do you have an innovative teaching idea, classroom need or a great student experience you would like to create, if only you had funding? We’re here to help! Since 1995, we’ve awarded grants in all 36 Northshore schools and programs.
Deadline is Thursday, March 13, 2025.

Build Skills for Life
On Friday, November 8th, Staff members Cara, Kimm, and Yuliya supported our Build Skills for Life mission pillar by serving as judges at the DECA Western Regional Leadership Conference (WRLC) in Bellevue.
Fun Fact: Kimm and Yuliya are former DECA teammates and officers at Bellevue College! Yuliya is a National Champion and a two-time top 10 finalist, while Kimm is a three-time top 10 finalist.

We’re EXCITED: Our fifth year of For the Love of Education fundraiser!
This campaign allows you to honor a Northshore educator or staff member by making a monetary donation that directly supports future grants for their school or program.
Anyone and everyone is welcome to donate to For the Love of Education throughout the month of February!
Bonus: Throughout February, we’ll honor every celebration on our social media.
