Going All In For Northshore Students on March 31st – Virtually and In Person

Bothell, Wash. (February 15, 2022)  – It’s been a tradition. Each spring, people who care about public education have gathered at Northshore School Foundation’s All In For Kids event to raise critical funds.

This year, more than 400 guests are expected to attend, with about half participating virtually and half gathering in person at Evergreen Church in Bothell.

“We’re working to create the experience that the community has come to expect from the Northshore Schools Foundation, no matter how guests choose to join us,” said Dyana Berger, chair of the event committee. “Our students need our foundation and community support now more than ever.”

The All In For Kids virtual fundraiser will be from 4:00 – 5:30 p.m on Thursday, March 31st. This is the signature event for the Northshore Schools Foundation. It has served as the primary means to fund all the grants that the Foundation provides each year. It’s an opportunity to acknowledge community partners and sponsors, introduce people to the important work that is funded by the Foundation, and celebrate the impact that Foundation donors make. Guests will:

Celebrate another year of growth. In 2021, the community’s steady support continued, so the Foundation could continue its expanded operations serving Northshore students and teachers.

Connect with parents, leaders, educators, business owners, and community volunteers who share a commitment to student success.

Commit to helping the Foundation be ready with student support for whatever the future may hold.

Talented student musicians from Fernwood Elementary, Ruby Bridges Elementary, and Kokanee Elementary will perform. Guests will meet Youth Advisory Board members Ariana, Tessa, Klaira, and Norah, all from Northshore high schools. Tessa will also emcee the event alongside Jake Whittenberg, KING 5 News. Students from Innovation High School students Nico, Chloe, and Sydney will describe how the Foundation community helped them create a calming space at school to support mental health needs.

The keynote will be delivered by Norah, a student at Northshore Networks, sharing her experience as a neurodiverse learner in the Northshore District. She will be followed by Superintendent Michelle Reid.

The fundraising goal for this event is $285,000. The suggested donation at the event is $150.00.

Funds raised will continue funding vital programs and replenish Foundation reserves. MacDonald Miller is this year’s Presenting sponsor. Amerigroup, Dykeman, Hutteball + Oremus Architects are  all Educate level sponsors. Banner Bank, Pacific Mobile Structures, SnapdoodleToys, King 5, North Creek Self Storage, and Elevation Cellars.

Refreshments at the in-person venue are provided by The Cottage, Heritage Restaurant | Bar, Jones Soda, Elevation Cellars, Patterson Cellars, and Triplehorn Brewing Co.

“Everything we do is funded by donations. Sponsors are so important to our continued operation, so we can keep helping students in the ways that are needed most,” said Carmin Dalziel, Executive Director, Northshore Schools Foundation.
