18 Oct All the Cities proclaim! It’s All In for Kids Month
The Northshore Schools Foundation (NSDF) is proud to announce that all three cities within the Northshore School District (NSD) boundaries have joined together to proclaim October as All in for Kids month.
The city councils of Bothell, Woodinville, and Kenmore issued the proclamations in support of the families and community of NSD. The city proclamation recognizes NSDF as being a valuable non-profit organization that is committed to removing barriers, enhancing existing classroom instruction to inspire an even greater degree of learning, and helping students to build skills for life.
The NSDF is grateful to the city councils of Bothell, Woodinville, and Kenmore for amplifying the importance of community giving and support to the area public schools through the use of these official proclamations.
All in for Kids Month is the designated time to remind the public of the inherent value of public education to any community. The NSDF believes that an educated population is the cornerstone of democracy. The Northshore public schools are designed to meet the needs of all students, serving kids with special needs and those with physical and emotional disabilities right alongside children without any learning challenges.
NSDF Board President Anthony Moran said, ““We are grateful for the support of our leaders in the acknowledgment of the important work we do in our community. It is our vision that the Northshore Schools Foundation be seen as an integral part of the community. We strive to partner with our stakeholders to be an effective fundraising catalyst that amplifies the work of our educators in the Northshore School District. We are very grateful for this acknowledgment by our local city councils.”
