Luncheon Information
 

The Northshore Public Education Foundation (NPEF) was founded in 1995.  The original goal was to provide a way for parents to respond to the educational needs of the day.  In the intervening years, NPEF has played an increasingly important role in supplementing the funding needs of the Northshore School District by supporting programs that promote academic rigor, innovative classroom grants and teacher training, and educational excellence for all Northshore students.     

Fast forward to 2009.  Our name has changed to the Northshore Schools Foundation, but our mission remains the same.  We seek to:  “enhance educational opportunities for all Northshore students.”  The Foundation seeks to do this by funding the acquisition of new teaching materials (including new textbooks), assisting teachers with costs associated with National Board Certification, and promoting innovative teacher classroom grants throughout the district.  To that end, the Northshore Schools Foundation will have an increased presence in local schools and in the broader communities that make up the Northshore School District.
