This year’s phone-a-thon will again focus on putting new textbooks and teaching materials in our student’s and teacher’s hands.  Our goal is a simple one, place new instructional materials (including new textbooks) in the hands of our students and teachers.  Over the past three years, the Foundation has awarded almost a quarter of a million dollars in grants to the Northshore School District.  These grants have gone to purchase new textbooks for core curriculum advanced learning classes at the secondary level, and leveled reading materials and new textbooks at the elementary level.  All schools in the Northshore School District have been impacted by these grants.  Our goal is to raise a half-million dollars through this year’s phone-a-thon campaign.  While this is a very ambitious goal, a $50 donation per student would help us meet this objective.   In these difficult economic times, we hope you will make our children’s education a top priority.

Here’s how you can help!  DONATE TODAY!  Or answer the call in November during our annual Foundation Phone-a-thon (November 3, 4, and 5).  We’ll be reaching out to students’ families and the broader community to raise the necessary funds to enhance educational opportunities for all Northshore students and help our kids receive a world-class education.
